  • About Us:

We are a husband-wife photography team located in West Philadelphia. We were married in 2009, and we share a love for God, for each other, for others, and for photography.

We shoot primarily on-location, lifestyle photography, meaning we don't shoot within the confines of a studio, but come to you (your house, a park, etc.). We feel that this allows us to give you more real and more natural looking photos. We shoot weddings, engagement sessions, family sessions, child/newborn sessions, senior portraits, or just about anything else you could imagine. We would also love to photograph you event--a birthday party, church or company event, or anything else. Just let us know what you have in mind, and we'll work it out!

We had the pleasure of photographing Maria & Damian’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. You can tell just by looking at these two how in love they are.Their wedding was gorgeous and had so many fun details!

Maria & Damian, thank you for letting us participate in your wonderful day. Congratulations!

The church was gorgeous!

This has to be one of our favorite groom pictures. This was as Maria was walking down the aisle.

Just married!

After the ceremony, we went to the Scout House in Wissahickon Park to get pictures. What an awesome location!

They had a fire pit set up at the reception and provided cigars for the guests.

Oh, my gosh! Your wedding album is the most amazing I ever seen! You both look like models! The photog is simply the best in the world– super stunning photography. I can’t even believe it! I’d have thought these were staged shots if I wasn’t there! And how about that Fuente Fuente Opus X you’re celebrating with– !!! Congratulations again, bro!

The list: u2

(posted by Kerith)

I acquired my love of u2 from my two older brothers. I grew up listening to them and also hearing my brother’s stories about how incredible their concerts are. They’ve gone to 5!! The closest I ever got to seeing them live was when Bono spoke at Penn at a humanitarian conference. So I was thrilled when 2 years ago I got a phone call from my brother asking if Jay and I wanted to go see them live when they toured in Philly in the summer of 2010. OF COURSE I said yes and put it on my calendar with lots of !!!!!!!! around it. But as luck would have it, Bono had to decide to not act his age, hurt his back on that tour, and it had to be cancelled. Thankfully we found out that our tickets would be valid for the make-up show.

July 14, 2011 finally rolled around and man, was it worth the wait. It was the most incredible show I have ever been to! U2 was amazing and played so many favorites. It ended up being a really chilly July night (well, and our seats were really high up), but even that couldn’t put a damper on the night.

Enjoy some pictures of the craaaaazy stage!

2.5 years & 2 days

Tuesday was our 2 1/2 year wedding anniversary! This week’s been pretty busy, so I decided to surprise Jay with Insomnia cookies! We used to get them on late night study dates. So we split 5 cookies, 2 1/2 each.:-)
Love you, hubs!

yum.

A new type of decorating?

The other day I (Kerith) came home from work and walked into the kitchen to this sight:

At first I thought Jay had hung some new decorations in the kitchen. But upon close inspection, I realized that these were not decorations, but in fact…

they were Jay’s TOMS shoes. He had washed them and instead of hanging them somewhere in the sun, he chose our kitchen hooks.

What can I say? I love my hubby, but I think I’ll stick to the decorating AND the laundry around here.

The list- iLove

I grew up in a family that uses Macs. I was pretty psyched when I (finally) got Jay to accept that Macs are better than PCs (cha! not that there’s even a comparision!) So naturally, we would want iPhones. Unfortunately, both Jay and I have Verizon and weren’t willing to switch to AT&T just to get a phone. So we waited… and waited. And then, finally- we found out that Verizon was going to be releasing the iPhone! And what was my first thought?? “Yes! I can cross something off my 3-year list!”. We almost renewed our contracts early so we could get them the day they came out, but that would have cost extra moola, and my excitement about getting a new phone did not outweigh my stinginess.

So what did we do? We waited 4 months, started a countdown, finally got the phones (holla!) and then… went out of the country 4 days later! Needless to say, we’re loving our new gadgets. Loving them so much that we’ve had to initiate a “no phones at the dinner table” rule.Yes, we are that lame.

Our favorite apps are::

Jay:

Hipstamatic: fun presets for pictures

Springpad: Edits photos on the phone!

ESPN Score Center: Wondering what the score is? Just ask my hubby!

Kerith:

Pandora: Playlists on the go. My favorite lately: Glee!

Petfinder: ‘Nuff said. If you see me, please keep reminding me that we do not have enough space for a second dog. There are some cute puppies there!

Pinterest: “Pin” your inspirations, craft ideas, recipes, etc. It’s really addictive and makes me feel more crafty than I actually am.

What are your faves?
